This policy applies to goods purchased from the Jet Wash UK online shop. We do not offer additional voluntary returns or exchanges. This does not remove your legal rights as a consumer, including any right to cancel an online purchase and your rights if goods are faulty or not as described.
Consumer online cancellation
If you are buying mainly for personal use, rather than for your trade or business, you normally have the right to cancel an online goods order without giving a reason. Tell us that you wish to cancel no later than 14 days after the day you, or a person you nominate, receive the goods. For goods from one order delivered separately, this period normally runs from receipt of the final item or part.
You can cancel before delivery too. Email info@jetwashuk.uk, call 0191 468 8765, or send another clear statement of your decision to cancel. Including your name and order reference helps us identify the purchase. You may use the cancellation form below, but you do not have to.
After telling us you are cancelling, send the goods back without unnecessary delay and within 14 days after the day you gave notice. Please contact us for practical return or collection instructions; our reply or approval is not a condition of exercising your legal cancellation right.
Return condition and costs
Please take reasonable care of the goods and pack them securely for return. You may inspect them as you would in a shop. If handling goes beyond what is needed to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, we may reduce a cancellation refund to reflect the resulting loss in value, where the law allows. Original packaging is helpful but is not a condition of your legal rights.
For a change-of-mind cancellation, you pay the direct cost of returning goods where we have given you the required information before purchase. For goods that cannot normally be returned by post, such as some larger machines, this includes providing the required return-cost information before you order. If we have not provided the information required by law, we will bear those return costs.
Where goods are faulty, damaged on arrival, incorrectly supplied or not as described, we will bear reasonable return costs as required by law. Please contact us so suitable arrangements can be made.
Return address: The appropriate return address will be confirmed when you contact us to arrange your return. Email info@jetwashuk.uk or call 0191 468 8765 with your order details. You do not need our approval to exercise a legal cancellation right; a clear cancellation notice sent within the applicable time limit is sufficient.
Cancellation refunds
For a valid consumer cancellation, we will refund the price paid for the goods. If you cancel the whole order, we will also refund our least expensive standard outward delivery charge. Any additional amount you chose to pay for a faster or premium delivery service is not refundable as part of a change-of-mind cancellation.
Unless we have offered to collect the goods, we will make the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving them back or receiving evidence that you sent them back, whichever is earlier. If we have offered to collect them, the refund deadline is normally 14 days after we are told of your cancellation. We use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. There is no refund-processing or restocking fee for exercising this right.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Your goods must meet the applicable legal standards, including matching their description and being of satisfactory quality. If something is wrong, contact us with your order details and a description of the problem. Photographs may help us assess a claim, but they are not a condition of your legal rights.
Consumers normally have a 30-day right to reject goods that fail to meet the required standards and obtain a refund. After that period, rights to repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund may apply, depending on the circumstances. Manufacturer warranties are additional to your legal rights and do not replace them. Sale items have the same legal protections as other goods.
These rights do not require us to remedy damage you caused through misuse or accidents, or ordinary wear and tear. This does not affect a claim for an existing fault or any other right you have by law.
Exchanges and business purchases
We do not offer discretionary exchanges for a different product, size or specification. This does not limit a legal right to a replacement for faulty goods. If you want a different non-faulty item, you may use any applicable legal cancellation right and place a separate order.
For purchases made for your trade or business, we do not offer change-of-mind returns or exchanges. Any rights under your agreed contract, an applicable warranty or the law remain in place.
